For a long time, I was very scared of drawing landscapes. I was nervous that if I didn't get every little detail exactly perfect, the final result would be bad. However, I've since come to realize this isn't the case at all. Art, landscapes included, is more interesting when it's imperfect. Little mistakes are what make art pieces human, and humanity is what makes art special.
With this in mind, I began drawing landscapes with  blobby trees and scribbly bushes. I embraced the imperfection of nature, and found that I enjoyed the process and results much more than expected. I applied the same logic to drawing animals, and the result was this wiggly forest scene featuring a mother opossum.
