This project necessitated I bring my kitschiest ideas to the table. I spent a long time brainstorming, but after much consideration, I finally decided to design an Ouija board... for cats. I wavered back and forth on whether it should be cute or creepy, but eventually decided to make it creepy with some cute cat illustrations on the back to keep it a bit silly.
I was responsible for every aspect of this project's creation. Instead of measuring a pre-existing dieline, I created my own from scratch. I designed and illustrated, printed, hand-trimmed, and carefully assembled both box and board, including attaching a cellophane window. As a last touch, I designed and laser cut a custom cat-themed planchette to go with the board.
