This poster required me to research and write about a banned book, so I chose a topic near to my heart. I had several more complicated layout ideas, but ultimately I was drawn to the symbolism of the magenta triangle in combination with the book’s title. I kept the rest of the poster’s design simple so ensure my message was communicated clearly.
Instead of choosing a color pallet, I instead received one in the form of a paint color chip, which I would have to colormatch using TOYO Color Finder’s library of spot colors. I was allowed to add one new color, so I made the obvious choice and included a bold magenta.
